Basing themselves on the absolute harmlessness of OIO as a contraceptive means, the authors also apply it to certain menstrual disorders. This has caused a favourable influence on 48 women with hypermenorrhoea, 49 - with dysmenorrhoea, 44 - with ovarian dysfunction, 7 - with praemenstrual syndrome and 12—with dysfunctional haemorrhagia. Very encouraging are the results of the treatment of 21 cases with juvenile haemorrhagia and 17 - with such haemorrhagia during the climacter.
