Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of laparoscopic resection of endometrioma.Methods:Thirty-eight patients with adenomyosis underwent laparoscopic resection of endometrioma, the changes of postoperative dysmenorrhea, menstrual volume, cycle, menstruation and anemia were observed. Results:The dysmenorrhea completely disappeared or obviously relieved in 32 cases(94.12%) 3 months later,30 cases(88.24%) 6 months later and 26 cases out of 30 cases(86.67%) 12 months later.Dysmenorrhea was more severe than preoperation in no patients. In 20 patients with menorrhagia, the menstrual volume significantly decreased in 3 months(P0.01),the cycle and menstruation didn't obviously changed. For the 19 anemia patients, mean hemoglobin was(86±14)g/L before operation and returned to normal(124±8)g/L(P0.05) 3 months after operation. Conclusions:Laparoscopic resection of endometrioma is mini-invasive,safe,of quick recovery and definite therapeutic effect in treatment of adenomyosis, and is a choice for patients who are young or want to reserve their uteri.
