Abstract
Aim: To analyse the protein mass spectrometry in the peritoneal fluid of endometriosis patients. Methods:Samples were taken from the peritoneal fluid of patients( 30 cases of endometriosis, and 30 cases of non-endometriosis).Protein mass spectrometry were analysed using SELDI-TOF-MS. Results: A total of 7 protein peaks were tested with statistic significance in the peritoneal fluid between the two groups( P 0. 05). Two proteins, with M / Z of 9 022. 578 and6 516. 219 respectively, were selected for a diagnostic model of endometriosis. The sensitivity and specificity of the model were 93. 33%( 28 /30) and 83. 33%( 25 /30) respectively. The protein with M / Z of 9 022. 578 was down-regulated,and that with M / Z of 6 516. 219 was up-regulated in endometriosis patients. Conclusion: The screened 7 protein have important value in further study on etiology and pathogenesis of endometriosis.
