Abstract
Objective To investigate the significance of carbohydrate antigen(CA) 125 in the diagnosis of gynecological diseases. Methods Serum CA125 was detected in 821 women by using electro-chemiluminescence immunoassay. Results Serum CA125 levels in healthy subjects(control group) were all less than cut-off value, and in ovarian cancer group was(740.87±1 180.03)U/mL,significantly higher than control group(P0.05).Serum CA125 levels in cervical cancer group, endometrial cancer group, uterine fibroids group, adenomyosis group, ovarian cyst group were higher than control group(P0.05).There was no significant differences between endometrial polyps group, cervicitis group and control group(P0.05).There was significant difference between ovarian cancer group and cervical cancer group(P0.05),but without difference with endometrial carcinoma group(P0.05).There was no difference between uterine leiomyoma group and cervicitis group, endometrial polyps group and cervicitis group(P0.05).There was no significant difference between ovarian cancer group and adenomyosis group, cervical cancer group and uterine myoma group, endometrial carcinoma group and ovarian cysts group, cervicitis group(P0.05).Conclusion CA125 detection might be with significance for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of gynecological diseases.
