Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of laparoscopic treatment for ovarian endometriosis cysts. Methods The operative experience of 88 cases of ovarian endometriosis cysts were analyzed retrospectively. Results All cases were operated successfully, with 85 cases of cystectomy for ovarian endometrioma (53 cases of unilateral, 32 cases of bilateral), one case of unilateral uterine adnexectomy, 2 cases of unilateral uterine adnexectomy and resection for contralateral accessory cyst. All cases were confirmed by postoperative pathology. The operative time was 30~120 min, the bleeding loss volume was 10~120 mL, and the hospitalization time was 4~6 days. Complications:2 cases of abdominal wall hematoma, 1 case of abdominal wall wound infection and 1 case of pelvic infection. Among 68 cases of pelvic pain, symptoms disappeared in 26 cases (38.24%), symptom relieved in 28 cases (41.18%). 6 cases (6.82%) had postoperative recurrence among 88 cases. Conclusions Laparoscopic surgery is the preferred treatment of choice for ovarian endometriosis cysts.
