Correlation Between Philtrum Shape of Women and Gynecological Diseases

Objective:To study the correlation between philtrum shape of women and gynecological diseases.Methods:The philtrum images of 49 healthy female volunteers and 132 patients with gynecological diseases including 27 cases of endometriosis,71 cases of uterine myoma,and 34 cases of menstrual disorder were collected,and the upper-width,lower-width,height,and area of philtrum were compared and analyzed.Results:The upper-width,lower-width,height and area of philtrum were lower in menstrual disorder group,higher in normal group and uterine myoma group,while all the indexes of philtrum in endometriosis group were between the two above.Conclusion:There may be some relationship between philtrum shape and gynecological diseases.
