Analysis of 29 cases of laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy.Methods Twenty nine patients with benign disease of uterus were performed laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and retrospective analyses were studied.Results There were 21 myoma of uterus,8 adenomyosis,5 with myoma and adenomyosis,4 concurrent with ovarian cyst,4 pelvic adhesion.Among them,3 cases were with uterine size12 weeks gestation,and 26 cases with uterine size ≤12 weeks gestation.The successful rate was 100%.There was no complication before and after operation.Conclusion With shorter operation time,less intraoperative blood loss,reduced recovery time of intestinal function and shorter hospitalization,laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy can effectively improve the successful rate of vaginal hysterectomy and increase the indication of vaginal hysterectomy.
