Abstract
Endometriosis is a common chronic condition that affects 10 percent of reproductive aged women. The purpose of this thesis was to examine relationships between endometriosis and associated symptomatology and several important areas of women’s lives, focusing on body image, sexual wellbeing, intimate relationships, fertility, family planning, and satisfaction with medical support, and associated relationships with psychological distress. Findings highlighted the often-considerable impact of endometriosis symptomatology on women’s lives and significant associations with psychological distress.
