Abstract Klebsiella quasipneumoniae are Gram-negative bacteria of the family Enterobacteriaceae, distinguished from other members of the Klebsiella genus through a chromosomally encoded extended spectrum β-lactamase, blaOKP. Here, we report a hybrid assembled genome of a novel sequence type of Klebsiella quasipneumoniae subspecies similipneumoniae isolated from a faecal sample of a patient with sepsis. - Received: - Version Posted: Funding - Medical Research Council (Award MR/W030578/1) - Principal Award Recipient: Adam P Roberts - Medical Research Council (Award MR/N013514/1) - Principal Award Recipient: Ralfh Pulmones
