Electrocardiographic abnormalities and Cardiovascular outcomes in systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases: A scoping review protocol
This paper is a scoping review protocol aiming to globally map the literature linking electrocardiographic abnormalities with major adverse cardiovascular outcomes (MACE) in adults with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases, excluding type 1 diabetes. It will use JBI methodology and follow PRISMA-ScR, searching PubMed, BVS, CENTRAL, Embase, Periódicos CAPES, and Google Scholar over the past 10 years without language restrictions, with study selection and extraction performed by independent reviewers in Covidence. The key output will be a narrative synthesis and tabular/chart presentation of the evidence and identified research gaps. This paper does not explicitly discuss endometriosis or adenomyosis; it was included in the corpus via a keyword match in the upstream search index.
