Abstract
Objective To evaluate the changes of serum and ascites levels of soluble CD44v6 and MMP-2 in women with endometriosis and nomal women. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to measure serum and ascites soluble CD44v6 and MMP-2 from 40 women with endometriosis and 35 nomal women. Results The soluble CD44v6 and MMP-2 levels in serum and ascites in EMT patients were significantly higher than those in normal women(P0.01).Conclusion There exists close relationship between CD44v6 and MMP-2,and the soluble CD44v6 and MMP-2 levels are significantly higher in serum and ascites in EMT patients than those in nomal women.CD44v6 and MMP-2 could be involved in the development of EMT.
