The Efficacy of Huayuzhitong Decoction Combined with Mifepristone in Treatment of Dysmenorrhea Coursed by Endometriosis

Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of Huayuzhitong decoction combined with mifepristone for dysmenorrhea coursed by Endometriosis(EM).Methods All of 92 dysmenorrhea patients with confirmed diagnosis of EM were randomly divided into observation group and control group.From the 14th day in menstrual cycle,patients in control group were given mifepristone tablets 6.25mg once per day for 4 days,and patients in observation group were given the same doses of mifepristone combined with self-priscribed Chinese herb medicine Huayuzhitong decoction for 4 days per cycles.Three menstrual cycles was a course of treatment.Results After 3 months of treatment effective rate was 25.00% and total effective rate was 93.75% in the observation group.And in the control group the effective rate was 9.09%,the total effective rate was 70.45%.There was significant difference(P0.01).Dysmenorrhea score in observation group was decrease after treatment(P0.01).Dysmenorrhea score in observation group was lower than control group(P0.01).It indicates observation group was better in relief of dysmenorreha.Conclusion The clinical effectiveness of Huayu zhitong decoction combined with mifepristone for dysmenorrhea coursed by EM is better than mifepristone,and it has clinical value.
