Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of infertility associated different reasons. Method 169 patients of infertility experienced with laparoscopic treatment and pregnancy rates after operation were analyzed retrospectively during recent two year period. Results 45 cases of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,body mass index compared with other causes of infertility in patients with body mass index,the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05); laparoscopic diagnosis of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in 62 cases( 36. 69%),postoperative pregnancy rate was 30%,endometriosis in 45 cases( 26. 62%),postoperative pregnancy rate was 48. 89%; polycystic ovary syndrome in 45 cases( 26. 62%),postoperative pregnancy rate was 66. 67%; ovarian cysts,uterine fibroids,normal were in 9 cases,3 cases,3 cases,postoperative pregnancy rates were 22. 22%,33. 33%,66. 67%,respectrvely. Pelvic tuberculosis in 2 cases,there were no case of pregnancy. Conclusion Body mass index have a certain impact on infertility,The important role of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility.
