However, it is severely threatened by White Mango Scale (WMS) infestation. Although integrated WMS management technology is promoted as effective and environmentally sustainable, its adoption remains limited, underscoring the role of extension services. Using primary data from 770 mango farmers and secondary data on WMS Density and infestation, this study examines the influence of extension services on adoption. Descriptive results show that only 9.61% of farmers fully adopt integrated management, while 40.26% are low adopters. OLS estimates indicate that WMS reduces mango yield and quality by 18% and 51%, respectively. Multinomial logit results reveal that frequent extension contact significantly increases adoption, alongside education, gender, training, credit access, farming experience, farm size, and cooperative membership. Strengthening extension services and inclusive institutional support is therefore critical to improving mango productivity and quality.
