Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of gestrenone and compound traditional Chinese medicine after conservative operation for endometriosis. Methods This study involved 120 patients after conservative operation for endometriosis,who were randomized to two groups: group Ⅰ,received gestrenone and compound traditional Chinese medicine,and group Ⅱ: only gestrenone was given as control.One-year follow-up was done. Results No significant difference in recurrence was found between the two groups,but the pregnancy rate was higher in group Ⅰ(χ2=3.90,P0.05). Conclusion Compound Chinese traditional medicine is effective for endometriosis and combination with conservative operation can significantly improve a patient's pregnancy rate.
