Clinical Study on Danchiyin in Treating Endometriosis

Abstract

Objective To explore the therapeutic mechanism of endometriosis (EM) by the treatment of Danchiyin. Methods Forty-two cases with endometriosis were taken in control by themselves, to observe clinical symptoms and signs of patients with endometriosis before and after treatment. The activity of natural killer cell, EMAb and stream of peripheral blood were determined. Results After treatment, the activity of natural killer cell of peripheral blood were significantly increased (P 0.01), the rate of EMAb positive were decreased (P 0.05). Danchiyin could lighten the blood stasis of the patients with EM. The effective rate of the therapy was 90.48%. Conclusion Danchiyin could modulate the immunology disturbance and blood stasis in patients with EM, improve the clinical symptoms and signs obviously, without side effects.
