Abstract

Laparoscopy could be used to diagnose endometriosis. However, this procedure is invasive, expensive, and diagnostic accuracy can be variable. In this context, recommendations regarding the use of diagnostic laparoscpy formulate by Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) vary widely. Therefore, this study aims to describe the recommendations regarding diagnosticlaparoscopy in CPGs for endometriosis, and to evaluate the methodology used to reach them.
