Abstract
Objective:To investigate the development of the newly micro-lymphatic density(MLD)and the distribution of deneritic cells(DCs)on the ovarian epithelial tumor in order to provide the approach to estimate the patient's immunity capability and prognosis and inhibite the lymphatic metastasis of ovary tumor. Methods:Forty-two samples of ovarian epithelial tumor were observed with the scanning electron microscope, Envision immuno-histochemistry and Leica-Qwin image technology. All the results were analyzed with SPSS software. Results:(1) With comparison to that of normal ovary,the distribution number of DCs significantly decreased on the ovarian epithelial tumor(P0.01).the expression intensity of S-100 also existed significantly difference between the two groups(P0.01).(2)The distribution number of DCs and the expression intensity of S-100 varied with the malignant degree of ovarian epithelial tumor. Compared to those of normal ovary, they tended to decrease significantly in the ovarian epithelial carcinoma and the ovarian borderline epithelial tumor, while there existed no significance in the benign epithelial tumor.(3)Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3(VEGFR-3) was expressed highly in the lymphatic endothelial cell in the ovarian tumor.(4)the density of lymphatic vessel positive to VEGFR-3 protein in the ovarian epithelial carcinoma was more than that of the benign and boderline ovarian tumors (P0.05),and it did not relate to the histological types. Conclusion:The results showed that DCs could be one of the indexes judging the malignant degree of ovarian epithelial tumor. The expression of VEGFR-3 related to the lymphatic metastasis of ovarian tumor.
