Abstract

Background: Endometriosis, a chronic gynecological disorder, affects approximately 10% of women of reproductive age and is often associated with severe symptoms, including chronic pelvic pain and infertility. Despite its prevalence and impact on quality of life, the pathophysiology of endometriosis remains poorly understood, and treatment options are limited. Recent molecular studies have provided insight into the disease mechanisms, opening avenues for innovative therapies.
