Abstract
Endometriosis is a common and popular gynecological disease in women of reproductive age.The pathogenesis of endometriosis is not very clear at present, there are no effective treatments and the incidence of recurrence is high. The traditional theories, such as endometrium implantation theory, coelarium metaplasia theory, lymph and vein dissemination theory, can not expose the causes of the disease completely.During recent years many experts have been doing a lot of basic and clinical researches, and found that endometriosis is closely related to stem cells, angiogenesis, eutopic endometrium, endocrine, and immune, and a certain progress has been made in these fields.
