Abstract
Objective To analyze the causes of secondary infertility after drug abortion or induced abortion to provide a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods The incidences of ovulation failure, fallopian tube obstruction, endometriosis and pelvic inflammation were analyzed in 90patients with secondary infertility after drugs abortion or induced abortion to investigate the possible causes of secondary infertility. Results The incidence of fallopian tube obstruction was 44.44%in drug abortion group, significantly higher than that in induced abortion group(20.00%)(P 0.05).The incidence of pelvic inflammatory was 73.33%in induced abortion group, significantly higher than that in drug abortion group(31.11%)(P0.05),and the incidence of complications was higher in those with twice or more induced abortion. Conclusions Fallopian tube obstruction might be the main cause of secondary infertility after drug abortion, and pelvic inflammatory might be the main cause of secondary infertility after induced abortion.
