Abstract
Objective To investigate the necessity and appropriate time for laparoscopy examination in the infertile women with normal hysterosalpingography(HSG).Methods Sixty-three cases who were judged normal by HSG were reviewed with laparoscopy and anti-endometria antibody(AEMAb).The results of above-mentioned examination were analyzed. Results Twenty-nine cases with normal pelvic cavity and 34 cases with abnormal pelvic cavity were detected by laparoscopy.Endometriosis(24 cases,70.6%)and pelvic cavity adhesion(8 cases,23.5%)were main lesion in patients with abnormal pelvic cavity. The positive rate of AEMAb in normal pelvic cavity was 6.9%(2/29).The positive rate of AEMAb in patients with abnormal pelvic cavity and patients with endometriosis were 35.3%(12/34)and 45.8%(11/24)respectively.There are significant differences in positive rate of AEMAb between patients with normal pelvic cavity and patients with abnormal pelvic cavity or endometriosis(P0.01).Conclusion Laparoscopy examination is necessary for the infertile women with normal HSG.When they were tested positive in AEMAb,they need accept laparoscopy examination as soon as possible for discovering atypical endometriosis and raising pregnancy rate.
