Abstract

Objective To investigate the treatment effects of placental immunoregulatory factor on the experimental endometriosis in rats. Methods The rats with experimental endometriosis were randomly divided into 5 groups: control, model, and three treatment groups with placental immunoregulatory factor. After eight weeks of treatment with placental immunoregulatory factor, diameters of implants were measured and the morphological changes observed, achroacyte acor nonspecific esterase(ANAE) activity in peripheral blood were detected with histochemical method endometriosis. And serum interleukin-2(IL-2) was determined by ELLSA.Results After treatment, the volume of the ectopic implants in each treatment group was significantly deoreased.Placental immunoregulatory factor could obviously increase ANAE activity and level of IL-2.Conclusion Placental immunoregulatory factor can increase cellular immune function of the rat with endometriosis. The right dosage of placental immunoregulatory factor could play inhibition or treatment role on experimental endometriosis in rats.
