Abstract
Extragenital endometriosis is a rare condition. Possible locations are, in order of frequency, abdominal wall, bowel, peritoneum, omentum, ombilicum, hernia sacs, bladder, kidney and lung(1,3,4). Abdominal wall endometriosis is most often developed on old surgical scars from obstetric or gynecological procedure. Cicatricial endometriosis presents clinically as a chronic painful mass, palpable subcutaneously, rhythmed by the menstrual cycle. Differential diagnosis is with disorders such as keloid, hematoma, wire granuloma, abscess and inguinal hernia(5).
