천도정기가 자궁벽에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

There have been presented the various opinions concerning to use Iodine tincture in the fields of gynecology, obstetrics and contraception. the purpose of this experiment was to see the influence of Iodine Tinc on the tissues in the uterus of rabbit. Observation on the appearance of endometrium, myometrium after instillation of Iodine Tinc USP in the uterus with follow ups on various time intervals using healthy rabbits weighting of about 2kg each. The following results were obtained by microscopical observation compared with the control groups using of normal saline. 1. The acute inflammatory reactions occured in the endometrium from the early stage of experiment and had been continued as state of chronic inflammation until the more 20 days later. 2. The desquamated area began to regenerate from the post-5th day and had been showing the picture of continuation of regeneration until the post-28th day. The complete regeneration will take about 30 days. 3. The control group using normal saline in the left sided uterus appeared not remarkable pathlolgical findings through various interval pictures. 4. The myometrial layer of uteruseven invaded as well as the endometrial layer but not marked servere. The most of changes can be belonged to edema, congestion, bleeding and cell infiltrations etc. 5. This author decided to clarify the using Iodine Tinc. on the uterine cavity after artificial abortion and D＆C or as a method of contraception is not the best habits.
