Research Progress Of Heparanase In Endometriosis

Heparanase can degrade heparan sulphateproteuglycan,the main polysaccharide constituent of the extracellular matrix and basement membrane. Heparanase can also induce angiogenic response.Thus it plays a vital role in development of endometriosis.The invasive、metastatic potentiality of endometriosis is basically associated with the loss of integrity of basement membrane structure.Recent studies about the characteristics,especially the inhibitor of heparanase can be a new approach of the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis.
