Abstract

We present the description of study. The study objective was the investigation of possibility of prediction of adequacy of intraoperative sedation in gynecological patients using the registration of permanent potential (PP) of the brain and body by omegametry. 104 women with gynecological diseases were included in the study; they had elective surgeries for adenomyosis, hysteromyoma, prolapse of uterus under epidural anesthesia. Our results allow conclude, that prognosis of the sedation adequacy during epidural anesthesia in gynecological patients depends on preoperative functional state, which may be examined using omegametry.
