Abstract
Objective To research the effect of stationary levonorgestrel intrauterine drug implants in treatment of adenomyosis. Methods 84 cases patients with adenomyosis treated in our hospital from August 2011 to August 2013 were selected randomly, and the patients were divided into two groups, each group for 42 cases. The control group was treated with levonorgestrel intrauterine drug implants, and the research group was treated with stationary levonorgestrel intrauterine drug implants. The devices fall off, move down, gestation, adverse events and the scores of menstrual blood volume and dysmenorrhea before and after treatment in two groups were compared. Results There was no case occured devices fall off or move down in the research group, and the the times of using machine was more than that of the control group, which had statistical significance(P0.05).There was no evident difference for adverse events after treatment between the two groups(P0.05),but the differences of menstrual blood volume and dysmenorrhea scores between the two groups before and after treatment were all statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of stationary levonorgestrel intrauterine drug implants in treatment of adenomyosis is outstanding.
