Abstract

Obective To analyse and summary the MRI manifestation of benign and malignant ovarian tumors.To evaluate the role of MRI in diagnosing and differential diagnosing;ovarian tumors.Methods MRI findings in 39 cases of ovarian tumors confirmed by operation and surgical-pathology were analysed retrospectively.Of the 39 ovarian tumors,22 cases were benign.and 17 cases were malignant.Results Of the 39 ovarian tumors,25 cases were unilateral and 14 cases were bilateral.There were totally 53masses,in which 38 benign tumors and 15 malignant tumors were diagnosed before operation,36 benign tumors and 17 malignant tumors were confirmed by operation and surgical-pathology.Conclusions ①MRI have satisfactory constitution resolution,Nature diagnosis of ovarian teratoma,adenomyosis,ovarian cyst, and ovarian cystadenoma can be determined according MRI.②The size,form and range of ovarian tumors are displayed accurately,benign and malignant nature of ovarian tumors can be determined.
