Abstract

Purpose To compare difference of apoptosis regulating protein FAP?1 and bag1 expression in endometrium with non endometriosis(EMS),eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium with EMS res-pectively. Methods The level of E 2 and P of the sera were examined by radioimmunoassay and enzyme immunoassay respectively. The expressions of FAP?1 and bag1 of these 60 endometrial samples were investigated by immunohistochemical assay. Results (1) There was no statistical difference of serum E 2 and P levels between experimental and control group (P0.05).(2) FAP?1 and bag1 expression in proliferative phase were higher compared with secretive phase in control(P0.05).(3) There was no statistical diffe-rence of proliferative FAP?1 expression among control, eutopic and ectopic endometrium (P0.05).But in secretive phase, the FAP?1 was expressed lower in control endometrium (P0.05).(4) The proliferative expression of bag1 decreased in EMS and the secretive expression had shown no difference between EMS and control (P0.05). Conclusions The lower apoptosis of endometrial cells and the irregular expression of apoptosis regulating protein FAP?1 and bag1 play important roles in pathogenesis of EMS.
