Current research indicates that dynamic signage can effectively enhance the visual impact and perception of patients and visitors. However, traditional static signage often suffers from poor recognizability, unclear information delivery, and a monotonous design. Therefore, this study aims to explore how to effectively apply dynamic signage systems to meet the needs of patients and visitors and to experience the value of design. Through a mixed-methods approach involving multiple questionnaires and semi-structured interviews over four months, we developed a dynamic signage system based on navigation efficiency. This study provides patients and visitors with efficient navigation and a better navigation experience, and evaluates the impact of dynamic navigation signs under various departmental experimental conditions.
