Clinical Analysis of Adenomyosis in 126 Cases

Objectives: To improve the diagnostic accuracy in adenomyosis. Methods: The age, clinical manifestation, and B ultrasonography were analyzed in 126 patients with adenomyosis. Results: The Majority of the cases were at age 36～45 years old (65.88%). The incidence of dysmenorrhea was 64.29%, menstrual disorder or menorrhagia was 58.73%, uterine enlargement discovered by palpation was 81.75%. The accurate rate in diagnosis by B ultrasonography was 61.90%. Conclusions: The accurate rate in diagnosis of adenomyosis could be improved by taking account of age, progressive dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorder, menorrhagia and B ultrasonography.
