Abstract
Objective To analyze clinical effects of ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with mifepristone for treating adenomyosis. Methods According to different treatment methods,120patients with adenomyosis were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The patients in control group were treated with adenomyosis excision, while those in observation group were treated with ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with mifepristone. The changes of uterine volume, dysmenorrhea, and menstrual amount in two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the uterine volumes in two groups obviously reduced compared with treatment before, and the reduction of uterine volume in observation group was more significant. The total effective rate of dysmenorrhea in patients of observation group was markedly higher than those of control group. After treatment, the menstrual amount in two groups was obviously reduced compared with treatment before, and the reduction of menstrual amount in observation group was larger. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with mifepristone can effectively reduce the uterine volume of patients with adenomyosis, alleviate dysmenorrhea, and decrease menstrual volume. Its therapeutic effect is superior to adenomyosis excision.
