Abstract
Objective
To observe the clinical effect of letrozole combined with metformin on endometriosis.
Methods
One hundred and twelve cases of endometriosis from October 2013 to November 2014 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 56 cases in each group. The control group was given leuprorelin treatment; the treatment group was given letrozole combined with metformin. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed.
Results
The treatment effect of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P 0.05). After treatment, the VAS score, serum CA125 of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the differences were significant (P<0.05). The levels of VAS score, serum CA125 in the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group, and the differences were significant (P<0.05).
Conclusions
The effect of letrozole combined with metformin on patients with endometriosis is significant. It can effectively improve the curative effect, relieve dysmenorrhea symptoms, reduce the recurrence rate, and improve the quality of life of patients. It can be popularized and applied.
