Abstract
Abstract Surgical treatment of endometriomas possess many risks such as destruction of normal ovarian cortex and inadequate surgery. Anti mullerian hormone (AMH) is a member of the tumor growth factor (TGF) beta family and released from the small (<8 mm) preantral and early antral follicles. It serves as an indicator for the primordial follicle pool. AMH is the best ovarian reserve marker. Therefore, we thought that AMH could be useful to evaluate the effect of endometrioma surgery on ovarian reserve.
