Abstract
By using the built BALB/c mice endometriosis model, the mRNA and protein levels of MIF in the peritoneal cavity immunocytes and peritoneal fluid of model mice were detected through real-time quantitative RT-PCR and ELISA,respectively. The results showed that in the 21 days after induction the mRNA and protein levels of MIF in model mice were all significantly higher than control group.MIF was markedly expressed in early-stage endometriotic lesions. It was revealed that MIF play a key role in the pathophysiology of endometriosis, and may involve in the early process of the pathology.
