Effects of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet on pregnant function and estrogen level of rats with experimental endometriosis

Objective To observe the effects of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet on pregnant function and estrogen level of rats with experimental endometriosis.Methods Self-endometrium transplantation by surgical method was used to develop rats models of endometriosis.After operation,the rats were divided into seven groups,such as Sham group,model group,Danazuo(0.070 g/kg)group,high,medium,and low dosage(0.216、0.432、0.864 g/kg)of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet group,and Sanjie Zhentong Capsula(crude drugs 0.864 g/kg)group.Four weeks after ig administration once daily,blood samples were drawn from orbital venous plexus of rats,the serum LH,P and PRL levels were measured by radioimmunoassay.Then the rats were mated with known fertile male rats,that were removed after one week,sub-cage feeding,12 d later,females were killed to open the abdominal cavity,then remove the right ovary,count the number of corpus luteum of pregnancy,cut and open the right uterine horn,count the implantation sites,the number of live births and stillbirths,and calculate the implantation rate and stillbirth rate.Results Three doses of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet can increase the number of live births,ovulation rate,and the implantation rate,while reduce the stillbirth rate,among which high dose of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet could significantly increase the number of ovulation rate and implantation rate;all the three doses of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet are able to regulate the level of serum PRL and P,in which large doses can significantly reduce the serum levels of PRL,elevate P level.Conclusion Sanjie Zhentong Tablet can improve the pregnant functions of experimental endometriosis in rats,the mechanism may be related to its functions in regulating hormone levels and restoring the body's normal endocrine.
