Abstract

This paper reported 20 patients with pelvic endometriosis confirmed by surgical pathology. Twenty-seven ovarian chocolate cysts were diagnosed by ultrasonography before the operation. Compared with the surgical diagnosis, the physical property consistency was 100%, and correet diagnostic rate was 85%(17/20). We divided the ultrasonogaphy of pelvic cndonictriosis into three types; cystic, solid, and mixed The cystic and mixcd types accounted for 88%(15/17). Contrast ultrasonogaphic study showed that the ovarian masses underwent variable changes before and after menstruation in size shape and internal echo. Correet diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis entails combination of ultrasonogaphy with history and elinical manifestations.
