Women with PCO S have high prevalence of depression, ranging is from 28 to 64%, and the incidence of anxiety have from 34 to 57% of women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCO S).The study involved 120 women with normal weight who have been diagnosed PCO S in combination with inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs. The quality of life of the patients involved in the study was assessed using a questionnaire SF-36, and the level of depression of Beck scale.Our study has shown that the patients with PCO S and inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs will affect both physical and psychological component of health but the psychological component is playing a much greater role in the quality of life of the patients investigated groups. There are no significant differences between the patients with isolated PCO S or inflammatory processes, while the combination of PCO S and inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs significantly reduces the quality of life. PCO S is a risk factor for the development of psycho-social and emotional problems and joining the PCO S inflammatory diseases adds to the pain and physical discomfort, adding to the emotional state of women and significantly reduces the quality of life
