Abstract
Objective: To explore the expression and significance of β-catenin in interstitial cells of eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of ovarian endometriosis. Methods: The interstitial cells in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of patients with ovarian endometriosis and normal endometrium of cases in control group were isolated in vitro, purified and cultured,RT- PCR was used to detect the expression levels of β- catenin in interstitial cells of the above- mentioned groups. Results: The purify of interstitial cells was more than 95%. IOD values of β- catenin in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of ovarian endometriosis group and normal endometrium of control group were( 0. 672 ± 0. 07),( 0. 351 ± 0. 029) and( 0. 184 ± 0. 020),respectively,there was statistically significant difference( F = 27. 68,P 0. 01). Conclusion: Wnt /β- catenin signaling pathway may play an important role in pathogenesis and development of ovarian endometriosis.
