Our objective was to identify what factors of smart transportation are significant for practitioners in this area. To achieve this, we employed the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology as our approach. The study’s results indicated that in order to be considered “smart,” transportation systems should not harm the environment. Within the study methodology, the concept of the environment emerged as significant among smart transportation practitioners. The study’s originality stems from its extensive field research, which aims to provide a more comprehensive evaluation and a fresh perspective on the 5G Valley in Turkey. The authors’ involvement in the project within the Ministry has allowed for a detailed examination.
