Abstract

Online retailers are now using AI to improve the shopping experience for customers, optimize inventory management and logistics, and detect and prevent fraudulent activity (Bawack et al.,2022). However, the incorporation of AI into e-commerce also raises a number of legal and ethical considerations, including issues related to data privacy and the potential impact on employment (Drew et al.,2018).This report aims to explore the various ways in which Artificial Intelligence is being implemented for e-commerce and to assess the potential benefits and challenges of using AI in this context. In addition, the report will consider the legal and ethical implications of AI in e-commerce and will look ahead to emerging trends and technologies that are likely to shape the industry in the coming years.
