Abstract

Aim: to study the clinical features of chronic pancreatitis (CP) accompanied by metabolic syndrome (MS). Materials and methods: We observed 60 patients with CP and 60 patients with CP accompanied by MS. To identify the characteristics of the clinical course of CP accompanied by MS used medical history, anthropometric, physical data, modern laboratory and instrumental methods. Results: The specific features of the clinical course of CP accompanied by MS, the characteristic of comorbidities, revealed changes in the functional state of the pancreas and metabolic processes in CP accompanied by MS, examined the quality of life in patients with CP accompanied by MS in the study. Conclusion: Clinical features CP accompanied by MS is a combination of clinical signs of prostate and symptoms of metabolic disorders. Deterioration in the quality of life in patients with CP accompanied by MS established part of the physical and psychological components.
