Abstract
Euphorbia yadgirensis is a new species from the scrub forest of Royangole village, Yadgiri district of Karnataka, India is described and illustrated here. It belongs to the genus Euphorbia, subg. Chamaesyce, sect. Longistylae and resembles Euphorbia kadapensis . However, it differs in its decumbent habit ( vs . erect), sympodial monochasium ( vs . dichotomous), laciniate stipules ( vs . scaly), sutures absent on capsule ( vs . present).
