Abstract

A new species, Glabrella dushanensis (Gesneriaceae), from Guizhou, China, is here described. The new species differs from other species of Glabrella by having fruticose habit, much thicker rhizomes, and obviously connate calyx. A population of approximately 100 mature individuals were found at the type locality.
