To achieve this, an econometric analysis was conducted using generalized linear models, with Eviews 10.0 software to estimate a set of four econometric models. These models were designed to identify the causal relationships between climate change and sustainable development variables. The key findings of the research provide strong evidence that climate change negatively impacted sustainable development in Algeria and its regions, with a medium-intensity effect. Specifically, the study reveals that climate change had adverse effects on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development between 2010 and 2022.
