Abstract

Dysmenorrhö ist das häufigste Symptom einer Endometriose, und das ovarielle Endometriom gilt als die häufigste Manifestation einer Endometriose. Bei nicht wenigen Patientinnen mit einem Endometriom fehlt jedoch die Dysmenorrhö als Leitsymptom. Das erschwert oft die frühzeitige Diagnosestellung und vereitelt im Einzelfall eine medikamentöse Behandlung, mit der die Progression der Erkrankung aufgehalten werden könnte.
