Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of psychological nursing intervention on preoperative anxiety of the patients with peritoneoscopic hysterectomy. Method: 80 patients with peritoneoscopic hysterectomy were randomly divided into two groups, which received extra psychological nursing intervention or only the routine nursing care. The anxiety levels of the patients in the two groups were evaluated at the first day of hospitalization and the day before operation. Result: The psychological nursing intervention can effectively relieve preoperative anxiety of the patients with peritoneo- scopic hysterectomy.
