ANALYSIS PATHOLOGICAL AND CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR CERVICAL ATYPICAL SQUAMOUS CELL IN 328 CASES

[Objective]To analyse pathological diagnosis of cervical atypical squamous cell in 328 cases and investigates clinical significance.[Methods]According to diagnosis criteria in the 2001 Bethesda system,analysed pathological diagnosis and evaluated clinical significance in 328 cases.[Results]Among 328 cases of ASC,pathological diagnoses as inflammation were 178 cases(54.3%);diagnosed as cervical polyp were 10 cases;2 cases were endometriosis;105 cases(32.0%)were LSIL;26 cases(7.9%)were HSIL;7 cases(2.1%)were carcinoma.Using LSIL as positive criteria,138 cases were positive:105 cases(76.1%)of LSIL,26 cases(18.8%)of HSIL,7 cases(5.1%)of carcinoma.Among 45 cases of ASC-H,pathological diagnoses as LSIL were 17 cases(37.8%);16 cases(35.6%)were HSIL;7 cases(13.3%)were carcinoma.[Conclusion]A diagnosis of ASC highly suggests the existence of cervical lesion.It is important to select appropriate treatment for ASC.A diagnosis of ASC-H will provide important information for high-grade cervical lesion.
