Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of uPA,uPAR and PAI-1 in the ectopic endometriosis and in the normal endometrium to explore the hypothesis that uPA,uPAR and PAI-1 play a role in the development of endometrosis. Methods:The expression of uPA,uPAR and PAI-1 in the ectopic endometrium was detected by immunohistochemistry streptavidin-biotin peroxidase method. Results:The expression levels of uPA,uPAR and PAI-1in the ectopic endometrium were higher than those in the eutopic endometrium with endometriosis and the normal endometrium(P0.05,P0.01) There was a significant difference in the expression o f uPA, uPAR and PAI-1 between ectopic and the eutopic endometrium(P0.05).Conclusion:The change of uPA,uPAR and PAI-1 expression in ectopic and eutopic endometrium may be related to the pathogenesis endometriosis.
